The Missouri Department of Conservation announced a Family Fishing Day. Families are invited to come to the Ben Branch Lake Conservation Area in Osage County. The event will be on June 11, from 8 am to noon.

A limited number of fishing poles will be provided from MDC. Families are enjoyed to bring their own fishing poles, bait, and reels.

There will be local vendors and few prizes will be gifted.

Linn Thriftway and Casper’s 66 will provide food and drinks on first come, first serve basis.

No fishing permit is required.
