MORRIS
Carl Franklin “PeeWee” Morris, born June 30, 1944 at Hines, WV, passed away on May 29, 2022, after a long illness.
PeeWee, as he was known by friends and family, was raised in Charmco, WV and moved to Frankford, WV sometime in the late ‘60s, after graduating barber college in Charleston, WV. He then started a long career, approximately 30 years, with UPS. Post retirement, he worked with McCraw Funeral Home for more than 20 years.
PeeWee was a member of the Anthony Baptist Church and active member of Beni Kedem Shrine, Chopper Bike Unit of Greenbrier County, a 50 year member of Greenbrier Lodge No. 42 A.F. & A.M., a member of The Valley of Charleston West Virginia A.A.S.R., as well as a Lewisburg bowling league member. PeeWee was an avid fisherman and hunter, which were his favorite pastimes.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Mary Sue Morris; his mother and father, Marie and Stanley; and brother, Denny.
PeeWee is survived by his son, Robert Morris and wife, Christina of point Pleasant, WV, who blessed PeeWee with 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and son, Edward Morris and his wife, Caitlynn Ozee, who blessed PeeWee with 1 grandchild.
Visitation will begin 2 hours before the service, which will be held Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at 2 p.m. at McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg. A graveside service will follow at Frankford Cemetery with Reverend Pastor Lloyd Camp officiating.
