UPDATED: Court documents reveal new details about the alleged incidents that led to 19 domestic assault charges against a northeast Missouri man.
Brant Stevan, McCormack, 38, of Unionville, was arrested Monday night by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
According to court documents, the alleged crimes happened between early December 2021 and May 24, 2022.
McCormack is facing two counts of first-degree Domestic Assault, 16 counts of second-degree Domestic Assault and one count of third-degree Domestic Assault.
The female accuser told investigators that the abuse she endured at the hands of McCormack included headbutting, multiple instances of choking, pulling her hair, biting her cheek, trying to suffocate her with a pillow, pinning her against a metal gate and twisting her neck, slapping her ears with open palms, dragging her by her hair across the yard, pinning her against a vehicle and kneeing her in the genital area.
The prosecutors said all of these alleged abuses caused physical injuries to the woman.
McCormack is being held in the Putnam County jail on $100,000 cash-only bond.

Brant Stevan McCormack, 38, of Unionville, was taken into custody Monday night by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
McCormack is facing:
- Two counts of Domestic Assault in the 1st Degree
- 16 counts of Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree
- One count of Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree
