Learn about the bloody war between Irish mobster Danny Greene and the Cleveland mafia during a talk at 6:30 p.m., June 13, at Mentor Public Library’s Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.

The battle was so fatal and explosive that it left Cleveland with the moniker “Bomb City, USA” during the 1970s, according to a news release. Local historian Dennis Sutcliffe will lead the program, which is free to attend and open to all, but registration is required. People can sign up at www.mentorpl.org or by calling the library at 440-255-8811, ext. 1.
