‘Zoom in, it’s horrible’ – BT Sport viewers slam Champions League final camera angle as Liverpool vs Real Madrid starts

FOOTBALL fans were fuming with the camera angle when the Champions League final eventually got underway.

Kick-off was delayed by 36 minutes due to fans being held up outside but spectators at home were also frustrated after the final started.

Many BT Sport viewers took to social media to complain that the camera angle was too distant.

One Twitter user wrote: "What the f*** is this camera angle."

Another added: "This camera angle makes me feel like I’m watching the game from space."

And a third said: "Disaster, this whole thing is a disaster."

One fan tried to explain that the Stade De France typically used such a camera angle for France national team games.

But the camera angle was only a minor problem for Uefa given the scenes outside the ground.

Hundreds of fans were delayed entry into the ground, causing kick-off to be delayed twice.

Uefa blamed fans for their late arrival but several supporters, including Gary Lineker, dismissed that claim.

Even after the delay more problems arose as peaceful fans waiting to get in, as well as a BBC reporter, were pepper-sprayed by police.

Meanwhile, fans at home were also busy slamming Uefa for hiring Camila Cabello to perform pre-match.

The Cuban-American star sang a number of hits… but fans weren't impressed.

One wrote: "Camila Cabello performing as chaos ensues outside the stadium is hilarious to me. UEFA covering up their bulls*** as usual."
