Scrub Daddy Sponges

Equipped with texture changing technology, Amaro recommends purchasing a Scrub Daddy Sponge on Amazon.

When used in combination with hot water, the sponge becomes soft, which is great when cleaning fragile items like glass.

However, in cold water, the sponge's texture becomes hard, which is great for cleaning appliances.

"When cleaning the oven, I use a Scrub Daddy in very cold water to scrape away crusty burnt-on food and grease," Amaro told Good House Keeping.

Another great feature of the sponge is that it never scratches the items or surface it cleans.

OXO Dish Brush

One of Amaro's best cleaning tips is to use a dish brush to clean the shower.

"I don’t have any mold, hard water, grime, or mildew because I am constantly cleaning my shower every time I do a hair mask or am standing in the shower for a few minutes," she said.

"I haven't needed to deep clean in a couple months because there's been no need for it," Amaro told Good House Keeping.

This product retails on Amazon for $11.95 and is great for easy, mess-free cleaning.

Amaro recommends filling the brush with a liquid soap and a small amount of vinegar for the best results.

Swiffer Duster

The Swiffer Duster, which retails for $14.49 on Amazon, is essential for cleaning hard to reach places around a home.

"Whether that means it’s too high up to reach, or it’s on top of something, or it’s below something — if we can't see it, we tend to not clean it," Amaro told Good House Keeping.

The product is one of Amaro's deep cleaning stables.

The six-foot duster is great for removing dust from those hard to reach places, like ceiling fans or the tops of cabinets.

Clorox Multi-Surface Cleaner

To make cleaning more enjoyable and less stressful, Amaro recommends purchasing the Clorox Scentiva Multi-Surface Cleaner.

A three pack is available on Amazon for $18.99.

The Scentiva collection doesn't smell like the typical bleach cleaner Clorox sells, which makes the cleaning process better, according to Amaro.

"Cleaning doesn't have to be miserable or a hassle. Just put some music on, grab a cleaner that smells great, and have fun with it," Amaro said.

Amaro was a former housekeeper based in Texas.

In addition to product recommendations, she also teaches people how to clean certain items in their house on TikTok.
