Fox Chapel Garden Club member Mary Louise “Weezie” Walter will present, Butterflies and Bees, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., June 4 at the Cooper-Siegel Community Library, 403 Fox Chapel Road. Participants can learn how to create a welcoming pollinator garden as well as pollinator oasis for any size garden.

Spring Art Fling

The Best of Blawnox is hosting its first annual Spring Art Fling from noon to 3 p.m. on June 4.

Meander down the Blawnox business district on Freeport Road and experience various forms of art, music, food trucks and more.

There will be demonstrations, exhibits and workshops for children.

Butterflies and Bees

Cooper-Siegel Community Library hosts Fox Chapel Garden Club member Mary Louise “Weezie” Walter for a special Butterflies and Bees event from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 4 at 403 Fox Chapel Road.

Participants can learn how to create a welcoming pollinator garden as well as a pollinator oasis for any size garden.

The program is designed for people ages 18 and older. Registration is required.

Wiggle Time

Sharpsburg Community Library hosts Wiggle Time, a program for children ages birth to age 2 with their caregivers, from 10:30-11 a.m. Mondays at 1212 Main St.

The program is outdoors, weather permitting, or in the program room in the library’s lower level.

It is designed to engage young children in positive experiences with stories and songs to help them learn language, bond with their caregiver and explore the world around them.

It is free. No registration is required.

Art and History walk

Sharpsburg Community Library will host a window decorating session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 4 at 1212 Main St., as part of the Sharpsburg Art and History Stroll.

Maps are available at 511 Main St., featuring all the stops on the stroll. Art will be displayed all over town. There will be a raffle and seed give-away.

Visitors can help turn the library’s Main Street window into an ocean scene. Supplies will be provided. No registration is required.

This year’s summer reading theme is Oceans of Possibilities.

Sharpsburg Council

Sharpsburg Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on June 30 at the borough building, 1611 Main St.
