Gogglebox duo Abbie Lynn and Georgia Bell revealed their unconventional strategy to beat the Hunters in tonight's (May 27) episode of the reality TV show.

While the armchair critics sat down to give their thoughts on the latest shows including Bake Off: The Professionals, Love in the Jungle, Top of the Pops 1992 and Made in Chelsea, one series that also made an appearance was Hunted.

While watching the latest contestants race against the experts to evade detection, Georgia suggested her genius idea. "Do you know where I always think is somewhere good to hide?" she asked friend Abbie, who responded: "Where?"

"Somewhere obvious..." Georgia explained, to which Abbie immediately agreed, offering her own thoughts on a hiding place, "like behind a curtain".

After laughing at the idea, Georgia added: "Under the table."

Eventually, Abbie came to an optimistic and, more than likely sarcastic conclusion, declaring: "We'd smash it, me and you."

They are not the first Goggleboxers to state their own out-there idea for how to conquer Hunted. In a previous episode, Pete Sandiford told sister Sophie: "Do you know what I'd do if I was being hunted? I'd shave my moustache off and my beard and my hair. They'd never know it were me."

The idea however was quickly shot down by Sophie, who simply stated he would look like a boiled egg.

It's looking unlikely we'll be seeing any Gogglebox stars outsmarting the Hunters just yet.

Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
