OTAs continued for the Las Vegas Raiders this week with players speaking to the media, among them offensive tackle Kolton Miller.

The best draft pick of the Jon Gruden era is, without a doubt, Miller. He’s consistently improved each year since 2018. A player that received tons of criticism following an underwhelming rookie campaign, Miller has become a fan favorite and a stalwart on the Raiders’ offensive line. Heading into the 2022 season, the Raiders are looking to Miller to take his game to another level and begin to earn individual recognition while his team preps for a postseason run.

Kolton on his fellow Raiders teammates…

Much like Miller, Alex Leatherwood had a rough go in his rookie year. He was moved around; initially their right tackle, the Raiders’ coaching staff decided to move him inside in the middle of the year. That was no easy task for Leatherwood, and Miller recognizes that, believing that the offseason work the former Alabama product put in will pay off.

“It’s a tough job to try to learn tackle and then mid-season go to guard, so that kind of speaks on how dynamic he can be. I know he’s done a ton of work in the offseason, and I’m really excited for what’s to come.”

The Raiders added to their offensive line via this year’s NFL draft by picking Dylan Parham, a versatile player with tons of upside. Possessing the ability to play either of the guard slots or center, Parham will undoubtedly play an important role.

“Dylan, he’s a young, smart kid. You can tell he’s absorbing. He’s asking questions. Competitiveness in individuals and the team period has been great. He’s doing a great job as a rookie.”

So far, Miller’s impressed and there’s no doubt that Parham’s name will be important throughout training camp. Will he be a rookie starter, or will he be a vital swing lineman?
