GLASGOW — A Memorial Day service is planned Monday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
The service is scheduled at 10 a.m. at the municipal cemetery. The service will include the presentation of the Patriot Award, which is the highest award given to veterans at the local level.
Volunteers are also needed to place flags on the graves of veterans. Local veterans associations will work to place the flags with volunteers. They will do so Saturday, May 28 at 9 a.m. at the municipal cemetery. They will also work to place flags at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
