Coppin State University baseball is headed to the NCAA Tournament.It will be a rare appearance from the eagles, who defeated Delaware State University last weekend. On Friday afternoon, the team suited up for practice on campus.Head Coach Sherman Reed said he knew from the very beginning big things could happen for his group. And he said it shows the work put into the program over the years. "What we are trying to do now is sustain our success. We don't ever want to be looked at as a baseball program that's a one-year wonder. 'Maybe things fall into place for them, maybe they just had a couple of seniors on their way out that had a big year.' What we want to do is sustain success," Reed said.The Eagles will find out who they will take on in the opening round Monday at noon.
