Best downtown patios in Billings

Summer is the perfect time to check out all the outdoor patios in downtown Billings bars and restaurants. The Downtown Billings Alliance lists all the best outdoor patios to try downtown. Here is a preview of some great outdoor areas to see when the weather starts to warm up.

The Buffalo Block is in the middle of historic Montana Avenue, surrounded by many historical Billings landmarks. Their patio area is surrounded by lots of greenery and has a large outdoor fire pit others can enjoy year-round.

The outdoor patio at Wild Ginger puts guests right outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Billings. The patio has large umbrellas providing plenty of shade during the warmer months and is a perfect place to have delicious food and drinks for a night out on the town.

Craft Local is located on the corner of Montana Avenue and 25th Street, with a great beer and wine selection. Enjoy live local music on their patio on the downtown block of Billings. Guests can hear music from Craft Local and their neighbor, the Pub Station, another great place to check out this summer.

The Last Chance Pub and Cider Mill has revamped their patio in the last two years and provide an urban aesthetic to the establishment. Their patio now has much more seating as well as heaters, fans, and coverings to keep people cool during the summer. The Last Chance patio is also connected to Ohana: The Poke Company, another place with a great patio to see.

Thirsty Street Brewing Company at the garage is another place offering live music on Fridays and Saturdays this summer. Their patio has excellent downtown views and plenty of indoor seating. Thirsty Street has a great list of cold brews and is another great place to unwind after a long work week.
