Woman slammed for the crazy list of rules she has for her employee… including banning her from leaving the house

A WOMAN has shocked Instagram users after creating a list of strict rules and chores for an employee, which social media users have labelled "disgusting".

The controversial requirements, which appear to be for a housekeeper, nanny or similar house position, include not being allowed to speak to strangers, leave the house without permission and only use their phone when the children are asleep.

A clip showing off the list, as well as a list of chores, has been shared on Instagram (@sgfollowsall) where it has received widespread criticism.

The employer captioned her clip, “It took me 45 minutes to write all these rules and regulations and the helper to-do-list, can I include doing a cold call when you are free?”

The camera then shows a small white-board with the complete list of rules, such as "No using of phone during work hours unless we call you”, "Do not go out the house without permission" and "Do not talk to strangers".

The employee would only be allowed to use the phone when the children are asleep, and would be limited to an hour's usage.

"Do not lock your room", "Do not waste electricity or water" the list continued.

And it concluded with: "Only stay in the area with a camera when we are not home, unless bathing or doing housework".

The white board also states the employee must be asleep by 10pm at the absolute latest 9.30 and up by 7am, and is not allowed to use the aircon without permission.

The camera then pans to a chores list and a dedicated chores calendar.

Reacting to the clip online, one user on Instagram called out the rules and regulation saying “This is so sad and disgusting.”

Another person accused the employer of modern slavery saying: “She’s a maid not a slave.”

"If I were the helper I would just erase the board and quit," another added.

While someone else commented: "This is what you should do for your children not a helper wtf."
