The Peloton family is about to welcome a new member into the fold. Instructor Becs Gentry announced she's pregnant while teaching a Tread class yesterday morning.

After debunking engagement rumors about herself and her partner Austin Curtis, Gentry shared that the two do have another piece of major news: They are expecting their first child. The marathoner went on to liken her ongoing pregnancy to a "hugely important" race. "It's going to be one hell of a finish line in November, but this time Austin is going to be right there with me in this race," she said. "And on the finish line this year, there's going to be three of us because we are expecting a baby." (

Gentry went on to share that she's faced challenges along the road to becoming pregnant. "Anyone who's had a child, tried to have a child, struggling to have children, I feel you," she said. "We've had struggles, we've had our moments and we've got here, and we're thrilled to say that we'll become three humans, two dogs, and one cat."

Gentry's fellow Peloton instructors have been congratulating the mom-to-be in the comments of her two most recent Instagram posts sharing the news. "Currently setting up an extra crib at my place for sleepovers with Auntie," wrote Tunde Oyeneyin. "WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!! Soooo much congratulations and love for you and @austinjcurtis ❤️❤️❤️," wrote Jess Sims. (

Fans have also congratulated the couple, with some joking that there's "something in the water" at Peloton, given the number of instructors who have recently announced their pregnancies. Earlier this month, Jess King shared that she's pregnant during a class, similarly revealing that her fertility journey "was not easy." Anna Greenberg and Chelsea Jackson Roberts, Ph.D. have also recently shared that they're currently expecting.

While her pregnancy journey had a rocky start, everything seems to be currently going smoothly as Gentry continues making progress toward her upcoming "finish line." During her class yesterday, Gentry shared that she's made it to her second trimester and is "feeling good."
