FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WCHS) —
Troopers are investigating after an unidentified body was found in the Prestonsburg area of Floyd County on Wednesday.

The body was found in the Levisa Fork River about 3 p.m. , according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.
Troopers said the body was sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and identification.

The cause of death is still under investigation.
