Cyberpunk 2077's first expansion seems set to open up the world by making previously inaccessble areas, well, accessible.

According to VGC, dialogue from Cyberpunk's currently untitled first expansion has leaked online — outlining the plot of the main quest. The leaks feature hundreds of lines of dialogue that not only reveal the story but also suggests that new areas of Night City will be opening up.

The files were datamined from a recent game patch suggesting that the DLC will follow Songbird. This character was also previously datamined from the original game. The leaks suggest that the expansion will feature seven main missions alongside several sidequests.

The expansion will reportedly feature a number of areas that are so far inaccessible in the main game, such as the Combat Zone in Pacifica and the Sports Dome. A criticism of Cyberpunk after its release, among many, was that the game featured a large amount of inaccessible areas. Numerous buildings and doors throughout Night City cannot be opened, limiting the extensive open-world feel of the game that players were hoping for.

As mentioned in the report by VGC, a number of Reddit users claim that the expansion will also feature fixer quests, new world encounters, and world stories.

Additionally, the expansion will reportedly feature less dialogue from Johnny Silverhand, voiced by Keanu Reeves. Instead, there will be multiple instances of characters 'silencing' Johnny instead.
