Duke softball looks to force a deciding game in the super regional against UCLA.

The Blue Devils (44-10) had a 2-0 lead through four innings Friday night but the fifth-seeded Bruins (47-8) scored a run in the fifth and took the lead with a two-run sixth for the 3-2 victory in Los Angeles.  Duke had two costly errors that led to three unearned runs.

Duke pitcher Jala Wright (13-5) gave up eight hits and stuck two in six innings.

I'm proud of my team for their fight and I think there's some things we could do to clean up for the game tomorrow, playing better defense and making adjustments," said Duke coach Marissa Young. "Jala Wright, I thought threw well and gave us a chance to fight and win this ball game, so we are looking forward to tomorrow."

Game 2 is Saturday (8:30 p.m., ESPN2).  A third game if necessary would be played Sunday. The winner will advance to the College World Series.
