Manchester City prospect Jayden Braaf joins Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer with winger signing a contract until 2025

  • Braaf had a year left on City deal but has signed a three-year deal with Dortmund 
  • The 19-year-old had a loan spell at Udinese which was marred by an injury 

Manchester City youngster Jayden Braaf has completed a free transfer to Borussia Dortmund.

The 19-year-old winger, who has signed a deal with Dortmund until June 2025, had a troubled spell at City and was allowed to leave despite having until 2023 on his contract.

The Dutch U18 international was loaned out to Udinese in 2021 but sustained a serious knee injury.

Braaf leaves City without having made a senior appearance for the club, although he did feature prominently at youth level.

In total Braaf scored nine goals in 18 appearances in Premier League 2.

Braaf had a year left on his deal at City but has signed a contract with Dortmund until 2025

Furthermore, he was involved in the EFL Trophy, the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup. 

During his time at Udinese Braaf scored once in four Serie A appearances.
