Tennessee man on motorcycle killed in crash on I-65 in Shelby County
A Tennessee man died Thursday in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Shelby County.Officials said Stanely Williams, 72, was fatally injured when the Harley Davidson motorcycle he was operating hit a Toyota Camry driven by Michael Gerstbauer, 57, of Nineveh, Indiana, and a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Gerald Beckwith, 80, of Montgomery. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. It's unknown if the drivers of the car and SUV were injured.The wreck was reported at 2:25 p.m. on I-65 about one mile north of Alabaster. An investigation into the cause of the crash is under investigation.
