The Golden State Warriors are heading back to the NBA Finals. Following two years of injury-plagued seasons that kept them out of the NBA Playoffs, they are back on top of the Western Conference. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are surrounded by a new supporting cast, highlighted by Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole, as they head to their sixth Finals in eight years.

Wiggins had only been to the playoffs once prior to this year's Warriors run. He shared his sentiments about making the Finals following the win over the Mavs. He said that he is thankful but knows that the job is not yet done:

Wiggins is averaging 15.8 points per game in this year's playoffs. He has had a massive role in the Warriors' playoff success. He matched up with Luka Doncic all throughout the Western Conference Finals. Thompson made it clear to him that the Warriors are grateful for him.

The willingness that Wiggins showed to shift his game into a more defensive-oriented role has shown that he can truly be a winning player after the majority of his career suggested otherwise. After being traded to Golden State from the Minnesota Timberwolves, he took on a new role and has thrived in it. He has had big moments throughout the postseason, namely his monster dunk over Doncic:

The Warriors are pumped up to move on. They will face either the Boston Celtics or Miami Heat in the 2022 NBA Finals.
