Toddler activity tables recalled because loose screws are a choking hazard

Asweets has recalled its Wonder & Wise activity tables for babies and toddlers because screws used on the xylophone can detach and become a choking hazard.

Asweets has recalled its Wonder & Wise activity tables for babies and toddlers because screws used on the xylophone can detach and become a choking hazard.

The tables were sold for about $200 at FAO Schwarz and children’s boutiques nationwide as well as online at littlewonderandco.com, maisonette.com, thetot.com, saksfifthavenue.com and wonderandwise.com from October 2021 to April 2022, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The wooden tables are square. The toys on the table are made of wood and metal. The tables are black, white and natural wood colors. The top of the table includes removable stacking toy animals, a xylophone, bead maze, sorting and stacking puzzles and a train track.  The center maze pulls up to access a fabric storage pouch that is attached to the table.

People who bought the tables can contact Asweets for a free repair kit that includes a replacement tabletop with a block sorting activity instead of the xylophone.
