The atmosphere surrounding Chase Center was electric after the Golden State Warriors' Game 5 win. After all, their home team will be making a trip back to the NBA Finals again. The excitement from the fans can be felt all over the place. Unfortunately, some fans seemed to take it a bit too far.

TNT's Inside the NBA crew was holding their usual post-game show outside of Chase Center. During the broadcast, a few objects were thrown towards Charles Barkley, presumably by Warriors fans. The host understandably got upset and made some threatening motions towards the fans. This prompted Ernie Johnson to call an audible and go into a commercial break early. (via CJ Fogler)

Warriors fans and Barkley have been beefing against each other since the start of the series. It all started with some classic inflammatory comments from Chuck, who roasted the Dubs fanbase ahead of Game 2 in the Bay Area.

“I don’t think they’re [Mavs] the best team. I just can’t pick the Warriors because I hate their fans. Their fans are obnoxious… I just wanna see these people suffer.”

Since then, Warriors fans have went out of their way to jeer at Barkley. While talking trash isn't uncommon in sports, throwing objects at anyone is generally frowned upon. Whether you agreed or disagreed with Barkley's comments, we can all collectively say that these actions by fans are uncalled for.

For what it's worth, this will be Chuck's last trip to Warriors land in this playoffs. TNT's coverage of the playoffs ends at the Western Conference Finals. Unless Barkley decides to attend a Dubs game (an extremely unlikely scenario), he won't be encountering any angry Warriors fans any time soon.
