Duluth Marshall boys, North Woods girls claim 7A golf titles

DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - The Duluth Marshall boys and North Woods girls are headed to the Class A state golf meet.
The Hilltoppers pulled away for a 57-stroke win in Virginia to claim the section seven title. Senior Tucker D’Allaird posted two rounds of 71 to claim medalist honors at the section championship meet.
The Grizzlies also won their respective section championship by a wide margin, 52 strokes ahead of Pine River-Backus, and 59 strokes ahead of Ely.
Tori Olson lead the way for North Woods with rounds of 86 and 87. Kianna Johnson won the meet individually with rounds of 91 and 80.
