Pitt County deputies arrest woman for threat against D.H. Conley High School

GREENVILLE, Pitt County —
Officials with the Pitt County Sheriff's Office said a woman was arrested for threatening a shooting at D.H. Conley High School.

At 1:03 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022, school resource officers were notified of a possible school shooting threat on social media.
The school was placed on lockdown and as a result, 18-year-old Sha'Niyah Pittman was arrested.
Pittman was charged with communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property. She was jailed with no bond.
