Coronation Street star confirms whether Nicky is really gone

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Kimberly Hart-Simpson has revealed whether or not Nicky has left for good in Coronation Street.

Sad scenes aired earlier this week when Daniel Osbourne found out Nicky was moving out of his flat in a hurry because he'd rejected her romantic confession.

Although it appeared as if Hart-Simpson's return to the ITV soap was finished prematurely, she clarified on her Instagram account that viewers have not seen the last of Nicky.

Alongside a photo of Nicky and Daniel in his flat, she joked: "A bit cramped anyway."

Multiple fans posted how they assumed she'd left Coronation Street once again, but she replied to several people: "You will see Nicky again!"

Earlier in the week, Nicky faced a setback when Daniel outright rejected her confession of love because he still has feelings for on-off girlfriend Daisy Midgley.

Even though Nicky went to Daisy herself to tell her how much Daniel was pining for her, Daisy's manipulative streak showed up again as she told Daniel they couldn't get back together until Nicky moved out.

Nicky caught wind of her rival's ultimatum so she packed her bags, leaving Daniel and Daisy to have a cozy night together in his flat.

It's definitely great to hear Kimberly Hart-Simpson will be back on the cobbles at some point, after her recent chat with Loose Women about how much the soap has meant to her.

Speaking about filming the show with COVID-19 restrictions, the actress explained: "I got through it, we all did, you know. And I was so fortunate that they continued that storyline, how lucky I was.

"You think that 'last in first out' vibes. But no, they had my back and I am forever grateful to the show for that."
