A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Numa J. Jeansonne, Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marksville, LA. with Fr. Dan O’Connor officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph #2 Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Numa J. Jeansonne, Sr., age 95, of Marksville, LA. passed away at Oakmont Assisted Living in Mansura, LA. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Mr. Jeansonne is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Dorothy Jeansonne; 2nd wife, Anna Meshe Jeansonne; children, Marilyn J. Ricaud, Chris Jeansonne and Chuck Jeansonne; parents, Felix and Florence Dauzat Jeansonne.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Numa J. Jeansonne (Elaine) of Mansura, LA.; daughters, Lenora Gayle Jeansonne of Tylertown, MS., Diana Marie Jeansonne of Marksville, LA., Sandra Marie Kimball of Marksville, LA., Mona Ramirez (Mario) of Hammond, LA., Trisha Bordelon (Kyle) of Lafayette, LA.; sisters, Mae Laveigne (Fernell) of Gonzales, LA., Ethel Miller of Eunice, LA.; twenty-eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
