Jackson State football has landed a commitment from four-star receiver Isiah Kendall, who announced his decision on Twitter on Thursday.

The 6-foot-4, 175-pound senior from Newport, Arkansas, is the No. 2 prospect in Arkansas, the No. 37 wide receiver overall and the No. 269 prospect in the nation for the Class of 2023, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Kendall's other offers include Indiana, Florida Atlantic, Air Force and Arkansas State.

Jackson State has had a lot of success bringing in highly rated receivers recently. Kevin Coleman, a freshman who was a consensus four-star recruit, is ranked No. 6 at the position and No. 54 nationally.

Travis Hunter, the nation's No. 1 overall prospect for the Class of 2022, primarily plays cornerback but also will take snaps at receiver for JSU this season.

JSU returns Tennessee transfer Malachi Wideman, who led the team in touchdowns  with 12 last season, and Trevonte Rucker, who caught 26 passes for 515 yards.
