Russell Wilson was the star of the show over the opening days of the Denver Broncos’ OTAs.
For one, Wilson took some time to build chemistry with several wideouts, including Courtland Sutton. During one play, Wilson completed a stout pass to Sutton, who had cornerback Patrick Surtain II covering him for much of the route.
Surtain, as he noted during a press conference on Thursday, was quite impressed with the sheer accuracy of Wilson’s throw to Sutton.
“It was a great ball,” Surtain said. “I was in great coverage. And it was just an amazing throw all around.
“That’s one of the tendencies he brings to the team.”

Surtain further added that Wilson is a “dynamic” passer, which comes as the versatile cornerback has only watched the one-time Super Bowl winner in action for mere days.
The Broncos concluded their debut week of OTAs on Thursday, as the team will return to on-field action on Tuesday. Overall, their OTAs schedule will conclude on June 10, which will then be followed up by the start of their three-day mandatory minicamp beginning on June 13.
There sure is plenty of excitement surrounding the Broncos heading into the upcoming 2022 season with now Wilson in the fold.
