JASPER COUNTY, Mo. — About 1:30 p.m. Thursday reports of a tractor trailer crash north of Avilla, Mo. on MO-37 alerted Jasper County E911.
Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.
On scene we learn the roadway is completely blocked near Opal Road and MO-37.
Tractor-trailer traveling northbound, hauling trash left the right side of the road and overturned across the road.
M&M Wrecker will gather the trash into long dumpsters and then set the tractor and trailer upright.

Crash is located just north of the former village known as Maple Grove, Mo. Historically a post office was established in 1879 and closed in 1901. It was named after a grove of Maples near the town site.
There still remains a church and former general store. The buildings are made of native stone at the intersection of MO-37 and Nutmeg Road/C. The area is now known as rural Golden City, Mo.
