Grambling State football schedule 2022: Season opener kickoff time vs Arkansas State announced

The kickoff time and broadcast for the 2022 season opener for Grambling State football against Arkansas State was announced on Thursday. 

The Tigers start the season on the road against the Red Wolves for coach Hue Jackson's debut with Grambling on Sept. 3 ( 6 p.m., ESPN3/+).  

This is the second time that the two programs will have met  with Arkansas State winning the only matchup 10-7 in 1985. 

The Tigers are set to play eight games on the road. The home opener is on Oct. 15 against Florida A&M. Grambling State will play just three games at home. The annual Bayou Classic against Southern is set for Nov. 26 the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
