A man suspected of the armed robbery of a business off Lake Forest and Bullard barricaded himself in his home off Lake Forest and Louis Prima Drive East around 10am this morning.
Responding NOPD officers traced the suspect to his home and when 47-year-old William Turner refused to surrender, a SWAT roll was called.
Turner was holed up in his residence for a number of hours before finally surrendering before 2pm.
Nobody was harmed in the incident. Turner was apprehended without incident and placed under arrest for Armed Robbery with a Knife.
