DARRYL SUTTER ON FACING ELIMINATION:

ON HOW THE SERIES HAS PLAYED OUT:

"Maybe our guys are doing all they can. Maybe Edmonton's just doing a little bit better right now. That's kind of been a (sidebar), right? Nobody's talked about that. It's always been about the negatives. What about the good stuff that's going on?"

ON FINISHING ON THEIR CHANCES:

"I think there's different layers there. That's a general question and a general answer to say 'finish.' But there's guys that can maybe get around the net more, maybe there's more pucks around between the hashmarks, maybe there's a bit more on the rush, maybe there's a bit more on the powerplay. There's lots of ways of breaking that down."

ON CHRIS TANEV GUTTING IT OUT:

"I think, first of all - taking Tanny out of that - there's lots of players, I would bet, in a series (that are banged up). When playoffs start, there are either guys that are injured or out, but then as playoffs go along, it's IR or out for the year or whatever. So, I'm sure there are lots of players like that in a series on both sides. For sure. But weighing that out with Chris would be... You know, even-strength minutes, he was really good the other night when you look at it. He made his partner a better player. I said it yesterday with the experience on our backend - or lack of experience on our backend - he's an important player for us."

"It's pretty easy to get up for the next one"

MATTHEW TKACHUK ON KEY FOR TONIGHT:

"I just think that probably better starts - a better first period to set us up better for the rest of the game. We know that our fans are going to bring it tonight and we love playing in front of them. We've been a great team all year at home, so hopefully we can use that to our advantage."

ON STAR PLAYERS STEPPING UP:

"At this point in the series, we need everybody. We've had everybody all year. We have such a deep team, from Marky all the way out. ... It really has to be complete team effort if we're going to get a win here tonight. Just start with one, use our home crowd to our advantage and get everybody going early and see what happens."

"We're excited to play back in front of our fans"

JOHNNY GAUDREAU ON DO-OR-DIE GAME:

"Just one game at a time right now. I really enjoy playing with all these guys in this locker-room and we have a good group in there. It's been fun all year long. Every guy is really motivated in there. We know where we're at in the series, (but) like I said - take it one game at a time and have fun playing tonight in front of our fans here, in front of a sold-out crowd and go from there."
