Sinkhole closes section of Oakridge Drive
Eastbound lane impacted as crews work to backfill the gap
ALBANY, GA – First shift commuters in the Good Life City got an early indication this morning of the severity of overnight storms.
A sinkhole appeared Thursday morning in the 1600 block of W. Oakridge Drive.
The crevice impacts the eastbound lane of the roadway which is temporarily closed as crews work to repair and backfill the sinkhole.
Work started this morning and the lane will remain closed until the sinkhole is filled.
Drivers should be aware that this lane closure could cause delays in travel time.
