I hear the Chancellor has done something about the Cost of living crisis we are living through which is better late than never. The Labour Party say that they called for a Windfall tax five months ago but still have not told us how they would have funded it and what other taxes they would have to raise to bring that sort of money in. It shows that they dont have a clue how to run the economy if they ever got elected. Sorry for my rant and to go back off topic

    Hiya everyone and TFTT Ian.
I’d forgotten it was Thursday and we had an hour of misery to endure. Still Noah’s hair and Durvids acting will give us a chuckle.

A Guardian article back in January details how Labour would fund their windfall tax plan:

    https://theguardian.com/politics/2022/jan/08/labour-proposes-windfall-tax-on-north-sea-oil-and-gas-to-reduce-bills

    That's five months ago.

The Chief Clown and his circus do nothing about it until large sections of the press start publishing negative stories about Partygate.

Then we have a U-turn and an announcement about the Wildfall Tax.

Some might think those two events are unconnected.

Others might wonder whether it's been done deliberately to try and shift the focus away from Sue Gray and Partygate.

    Hello you lot. :)

I'd like to request the Pirates Of The Caribbean theme for an advert break please. :) (Or This Girl Is On Fire in dedication to Johnny Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez). ;)

I'd also like to inform the jury I'm only here because I've seen rumours Mackenzie is going to be in a suit tonight..... :p
