Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home is arranging services for Shirletta Orchard, 84, of Jefferson.  Services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at First Baptist Church, Jefferson.  Visitation with the family present to greet friends begins at 1:00pm Saturday at First Baptist Church, followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.

Private interment will be in the Scranton Twp. Cemetery, Scranton, Iowa.

Memorials in Shirletta’s name can be sent to the new Greene County Animal Shelter in Jefferson, IA.  Please consider donating blood in her name.

Shirletta is survived by her husband, Jack; her children: Chris (Jody) Orchard of Jefferson, IA, Pamela Hilsabeck of Ankeny, IA and Cynthia (Dick) Zieser of Guthrie Center, IA;  grandchildren: Jennifer (Eric) Webb of Dallas Center, IA and Seth (Megan) Zieser of Ward, AR; and great grandchildren: Blake, Mason, Gracie and Allison. Shirletta is also survived by her twin sister, Sharletta Boulware of Council Bluffs,  and sisters: Izetta Dierking of Walnut, Arletta Williams of Crete, NE and Marietta Coil of Jefferson, and brother, Roy Boulware of Ames, IA; and her grand dog, Carlee.
