EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders is gearing up for the The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations with a cameo from HRH Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall next week.
Ahead of the episode, Danny Dyer – who plays Mick Carter on the BBC soap – has opened up on meeting the royals when they visited the Walford set back in March, and gave his seal of approval for their acting in a small segment.
"They were really good, they pulled it out of the bag," Dyer said in an interview with The Evening Standard.

Dyer revealed the actors had only "20 minutes with them" to perfect and film the scene, before adding: "We rehearsed it, they got out of the motor, we did it and then they left."
In scenes airing on June 2, Mick and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) will introduce The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall to the other residents of the square.
Bright, too, has previously discussed how her character Linda feels about welcoming the royals to Walford.
"It is like all of her Christmases have come at once! It was one of the best days of her life, probably up there with giving birth to her children I would think. It was like a dream come true for her," she said.

The actress also revealed she had met Prince Charles before.
"I actually met him years ago when I was in The Archers and we were celebrating 50 years. We had a party at St James's Palace. He was there hosting and I got to meet him. He wouldn't remember that of course, but I do."
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
