‘Goodfellas’ star Ray Liotta dead at 67

Beloved actor Ray Liotta has died, his rep confirmed to Page Six Thursday. He was 67.

The “Goodfellas” star died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming a new movie titled ”Dangerous Waters.”

TMZ reported that no one suspects foul play in the actor’s shocking death.

Liotta is survived by his 23-year-old daughter, Karsen, and fiancée Jacy Nittolo, who was with him while filming.

Reps for Liotta didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Liotta recently embarked on a career resurgence in Hollywood, having appeared in “The Many Saints of Newark” (2021), “Marriage Story” (2019) and “No Sudden Move” (2021). The iconic actor became a household name after starring in Kevin Costner’s “Field of Dreams” (1989) as Shoeless Joe Jackson.

“Yeah, I’m not complaining. But I worked for it,” he told The Post of his Liottassaince.

“I had to live through a period where things were down instead of up. I’ve definitely had an up-and-down career. But I’m extremely persistent and competitive where I just wanted to get to a certain place again.”

The Union, New Jersey, native then followed up with his most iconic role, playing Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” (1990) opposite Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.

Despite his penchant for wiseguy roles, Liotta told us he was no tough guy.

“I don’t go around beating people up,” he said. “I’ve never been in a fight. I avoid it at all costs.”

Liotta and Nittolo got engaged around Christmas 2020 and announced the news on social media.

“Christmas wishes do come true. I asked the love of my life to marry me, and thank God she said yes!!!” he captioned a photo at the time, which featured Nittolo showing off her engagement ring.

Nittolo shared the same image on her own account, plus an outtake, and added, “💍🥂🍾.”

The “Heist” actor was previously married to actress Michelle Grace from 1997 to 2004. The two share daughter Karsen. Nittolo has four children: Joey, Jade, Dax and Chazz.
