Hospital Employee Charged with Terroristic Threats & Acts

According to warrants a 39 year old Rome resident was jailed Tuesday, charged with Terroristic Threats & Acts.

Michael Ray Garrison, an employee at Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, allegedly texted his supervisor telling her that she should leave the hospital because – he “planned to get gasoline and burn the place down,”  He also reportedly threatened to “go postal” and “shoot the place up”

According to reports, the threats were issued May 19th – with Garrison subsequently being taken into custody on a felony warrant.
