(KTTS News) — A family has been awarded more than $34 million dollars in damages after a child delivered at Cox South Hospital ended up with brain damage.
Katie Kendrick says the hospital gave her too much of the drug Pitocin.
KY3 says Kendrick’s son, Brody, will need life-long care after he was deprived of oxygen in the womb.
The family has put the money in a special needs fund.
