Silent Sky is a 2015 play by Lauren Gunderson -- currently the most produced playwright in American theater -- will be presented June 3-5, 9-12 at the Sioux City Community Theater.

The play tells the real-life history of early 1900's astronomist Henrietta Leavitt who made key discoveries in a Harvard lab, along with co-workers,

The Sioux City Community Theatre is partnering with a women's advocacy organization and a Siouxland artist for the final mainstage production of its 74th season. I talk with director Greg Giles and lead actress Meredith Malenosky.
