Man charged with murder after shooting in Greenville parking lot

A Farmville man was arrested Wednesday after another man was fatally shot in a Greenville parking lot.

GREENVILLE, N.C. — A Farmville man was arrested Wednesday after another man was fatally shot in a Greenville parking lot.

Deputies with the Pitt County Sheriff's Office responded to Mozingo's Corner Stop at 4724 Stantonsburg Road around 9:15 p.m., where they found 21-year-old Jaquan Davis, of Greenville, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Davis died later at ECU Health Medical Center.

Timothy Baker, 23, of Farmville, was charged with murder and taken to the Pitt County Detention Center, where he was being held without bond.
