By the time Part 3 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 12 reunion wrapped up, Teresa Giudice and her family, Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga, had experienced several emotional and tense moments, which led to Joe walking off the stage and a family meeting backstage mediated by Andy Cohen (clip above).

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

So fans might be wondering how Teresa feels about the drama today. When The Daily Dish caught up with Teresa at NBCUniversal's upfront last week, she offered some insight into the tension and her hopes for her relationships with Joe and Melissa.

“Well, I apologized to my brother for calling him that name. I’m not going to repeat it. I was trying to explain something and I said it that way, but I didn’t mean that at all. He’s my only family that I have, my only sibling,” she said. “So, of course, I don’t want to argue with him at all. And I don’t want to show my children that. And I’m sure he doesn’t want to do the same. Our kids, they watch us, so we want to be good examples for them. A lot of people were telling me [that] brothers and sisters, they always fight but then they make up. And I’m like, you know, you’re right.”

From there, she reiterated, “But I don’t like fighting with my brother. He’s my only sibling, and we lost our parents, so we only have each other, so we should really be there for each other.”

One of the main headlines to come out of the reunion, and from the time when Season 12 was airing earlier this year, was the news that Melissa would not be one of Teresa's bridesmaids. Teresa revealed how things are now between her and her sister-in-law in light of that development: “We’re good. She says she was fine with not being in the wedding,” she said. “So I feel like we’re in a good place.”

Speaking of wedding plans, Teresa shared a few more details about her upcoming nuptials in a recent episode of Bravo Insider’s Housewife to Housewife, which you can check out below.

RHONJ is streaming on Peacock and available on the Bravo app.
