Kristi Leigh Taylor, 47, of Henderson passed away May 22, 2022 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Palestine Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Rowland officiating. Burial followed in Palestine Cemetery. The family received friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and beginning at 9:30-11 a.m. service time on Wednesday.
She was born June 10, 1974 in Jackson, the daughter of Jimmy and Phyllis Rowland Donaldson. She grew up in Henderson and was a 1992 graduate of Chester County High School. She married Heath Taylor on June 26, 1993. They made their home in Henderson.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved watching her daughter Kaitlynn play softball. She loved her dogs, Bonnie, Tigger, Star, Clyde and Ellie Jo. She enjoyed shopping and going to the mountains.
She loved to sing and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Heath Taylor of Henderson; her parents, Jimmy and Phyllis Rowland Donaldson of Henderson; a daughter, Kaitlynn (William) Young of Henderson; one brother, Jimmy (Trisha West) Donaldson of Henderson; a sister, Jamie (Ethan) King of Selmer; one grandchild on the way; and her mother-in-law, Jane Taylor of Adamsville.
