One man dead, another in jail after convenience store parking lot shooting

GREENVILLE, Pitt County —
A suspect has been arrested in a Wednesday night shooting in a convenience store parking lot.

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting took place in the parking lot at Mozingo’s Corner Stop on Stantonsburg Rd. in Greenville just after 9 p.m.
Deputies arrived to find Jaquan Davis, 21, of Greenville lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He later died at the hospital.
