OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- As the Gaylord community continues to clean-up after a deadly tornado, first responders in the area are hosting a blood drive.
The Versiti #GaylordStrong Community Blood Drive is Thursday, May 26.

The blood drive will take place at the Otsego County Fire Department from 12-6 p.m.
The address is: 811 S. Wisconsin, Gaylord.
Every two seconds, someone needs lifesaving blood to survive.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is in Gaylord this week to get a closer look at the damage following a deadly tornado.
The EF3 tornado struck the community Friday afternoon , leaving a path of destruction.
Two people were killed and 44 hurt.
The National Weather Service determined the tornado was on the ground for a total of 20 minutes continuing its path for 16.6 miles.
