A Lexington man has been jailed after allegedly murdering his wife and two daughters.

Lexington police responded to the triple murder Wednesday afternoon at approximately 4:00 in what was originally described as a “disorder,” according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Upon arriving at the home in the 400 block of Caywood Drive, in the Cardinal Valley area, police found Lisa Wilson, 65, Bryonny Wilson, 42, and Bronwyn Wilson, 38, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police arrested 64-year-old Steven R. Wilson, Lisa Wilson’s husband and the father of Bryonny and Bronwyn Wilson and charged him with three counts of murder (domestic violence).

He is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.

Fayette County has now had 11 homicides in May, the deadliest month in 14 years. The county, with 21 murders in 2022, is also on pace to shatter the record-high 37 murders recorded in 2021.
