Aaron Ashby started the game and allowed just one unearned runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five.
Relievers Luis Perdomo, Brad Boxberger, and Devin Williams held the Padres to one hit in the final three and one-third innings, with three strikeouts.
The Brewers 11 game road trip continues tonight at St. Louis. Eric Lauer is scheduled to start for Milwaukee against Adam Wainwright for St. Louis.
