Next week on Coronation Street, brace yourselves for some – literally – car-crash TV, as a special set of episodes airs.

Corrie will be airing every weeknight at 7.30pm as ITV provides a special schedule to tie in with the Britain's Got Talent live shows.

The big week sees Imran and Abi's custody battle for baby Alfie come to a head, culminating in a car crash and a police investigation.

Here's a full collection of 10 big moments coming up.

1. A flashforward teases the future

The big week of episodes begins with a flashforward scene, showing Imran leaving a message for Toyah in which he reveals everything.

Imran has been keeping Toyah in the dark over the dirty tactics he used against Abi in court – and it seems that his conscience has finally got the better of him.

However, with Abi receiving loyal support from Kevin, and Toyah starting to figure out Imran's lies for herself, has he left his plans for a big confession too late?

2. Imran receives home truths from Kelly

As the action shifts back to the present, Imran faces a difficult moment with his former foster daughter Kelly, who has been supporting Abi in recent weeks.

Imran has tried to prevent Kelly from finding out about his underhand tactics. However, he's shocked when Kelly accuses him of bribing Ben to lie about Abi in court.

Imran struggles as Kelly holds a mirror up to his shameful behaviour, but will this be what causes him to come clean?

3. Kevin supports Abi

Kevin is in a difficult position after Abi confided in him about her plans to flee the country with baby Alfie.

After giving the situation some thought, Kevin decides he's on Team Abi and helps her to put the final preparations in place for her great escape.

By this point, Imran is starting to worry about what Abi could be capable of, so it seems that Abi may need all the help she can get if she wants to flee without being caught out.

4. Abi's secret is out

There's trouble for Abi when she realises that the game is up and her secret plan is no longer under wraps.

Toyah wants to go to the police about the kidnap plan, but Imran is still feeling guilty and vows to come clean to the authorities about his own wrongdoing.

5. Toyah and Imran are in a car crash

As the tensions on the cobbles escalate, Toyah and Imran are involved in a car crash and they're both left unconscious in the wreckage of the vehicle.

Imran is first to regain consciousness and he pulls Toyah out of the crashed car, begging her not to die as the ambulance arrives.

6. Kevin and Abi receive a shock

Kevin tells Abi that he wants her back in his life for good, now prepared to give her another chance after her cheating scandal.

Their romantic moment is interrupted when the police arrive to let them know about Imran and Toyah's car crash.

7. Kevin and Abi come under suspicion

The police start to investigate the car crash and their biggest question is why the vehicle didn't brake properly. This puts pressure on Kevin, who'd worked on the car at the garage shortly before the crash.

Abi and Kevin are taken in by the police for questioning and they're horrified to realise that the crash may not be treated as an accident.
