TECUMSEH — Following Tecumseh's 18-5 win against Ypsilanti Lincoln on May 9, boys lacrosse head coach Bogie Trout made a statement.

He noted with the way his team was playing, it would have a much better outcome against the teams Tecumseh started the season against.

Tecumseh lost to Dearborn Divine Child, 15-3, in the second game of the season, but Wednesday in the Division 2 regional semifinal, Tecumseh proved Trout right as it won, 8-7.

Tecumseh trailed 5-4 at the end of the first half, but outscored the Falcons, 4-2, in the second half.

Tecumseh is now 8-9 on the season and has won five of its last six games.

Tecumseh will play in the championship game against Haslett, who beat Temperance Bedford (14-1), at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at home.
