CSI: Vegas season 2 has reeled in Lex Medlin and Ariana Guerra to soften a number of significant cast exits.
It's been announced that the Mayans MC (Medlin played Randall) and Helstrom duo (Guerra was Gabriella Rosetti) are onboard as newcomers Beau and Serena, according to Deadline.
Jay Lee, who recurred in the opening season as Chris Park, has been promoted to series regular as well.

As for what we know of Medlin's character so far, Beau (who's a husband and a dad of four kids) spent the past 20 years as one of Dow Chemical's best research scientists and has decided to put his efforts to better use following the pandemic.
"He took a massive pay cut, followed his heart and graduated at the top of his class at the CSI Academy. He is now the most overqualified CSI Level 1 of all time," his character bio reads.
We also know that this newbie is a True Crime trivia fan and isn't exactly used to having someone to answer to in the workplace, which could spell trouble going forward.

Meanwhile, Guerra – who you may know from her work in Netflix's Raising Dion and Promised Land – steps into the shoes of a "hard-boiled" pocket rocket.
As an unfiltered "tough-skinned cynic", not to mention the daughter of cops and a sibling to doctors, Serena is, according to her character bio, "not content to let science lead the way without some saucy commentary and tough questions".
We'd better watch out for these two.
CSI: Vegas airs on CBS in the US. No UK broadcaster has been announced yet.
